We have all heard at some point in our life, ‘that all the answers lie within us’ but it takes a Question to retrieve the answer and I contend that if we are not asked the right question we won’t get the right answer. In my Life Coaching practice I use life questions to direct the change in my clients lives. I would like to share a sample of those questions with you. Please use them where needed, they will work any aspect of life be it work, family, relationships. It is important in this process to write out your answers and to visit and reflect upon them regularly.
 
 
 
Life Plan or Possible Future Self
  1. What do you really, really want in life?
  2. What do you truly want to experience?
  3. Where do you see myself in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years?
  4. What are your strengths, what do you love to do?
  5. What would you attempt if I knew you couldn’t fail?
 
Getting Motivated
  1. What gets you going daily?
  2. What keeps you energized?
  3. How do you work best?
  4. What’s your plan for winning?
  5. What flag do you carry or what logo is on your tee-shirt?
 
Getting Unstuck
1.      If you were successful how would that look?
2.      Are you resisting something? What is it?
3.      Are you in denial about an aspect of work/family/relationship ?
4.      Do you need to be more real? Are you honest with yourself?
5.      What do you really need to do in this situation?
 
 
Procrastination
1.      What does being proactive mean to you?
2.      What will this action get you?
3.      Where are you slowing down or backing off?
4.      What does completion look like to you? What have you completed in the past?
5.      What standards have you set for yourself?
 
 
Joy/Gratitude
1.      What are you grateful for everyday?
2.      How do you pamper yourself?         
3.      What brings a smile to your face?
4.      How are you gentle with yourself?
5.      What makes you laugh?
